Paradigm Services (Nig.) Ltd: PROJECTS
In our short history we have successfully executed a large number of projects/contracts. We pride ourselves in providing solutions to particularly challenging engineering related problems. Listed below is a partial list of our recently completed projects that exemplify our capabilities.
- BJ Services:
Fabrication and installation of a support structure of a 60ton FAUN crane on an offshore vessel (sirpi Fjord). As part of the requirements, major modifications were carried out to the hull of the vessel. Entire installation and fabrication was as per Bureau Veritas (Paris) standards including design, drawings and calculations for vessel stability and loading.
The following quality assurance procedures were implemented:
- BV Welding procedure
- Material quality certificates
- Approved drawings and schematics
- ABS and SGS certified welders
- Non Destructive testing
- Transocean SedcoForex:
Design, engineering, certification, fabrication, and installation of Load cells (0-325,000 lbs) on 5 No.’s of Silo’s (Bentonite and Barite) on their drilling rig (Searex 6). The entire installation of the Load cells was completed on site without any dismantling or moving of the Silos and without the assistance of any heavy lifting equipment.
The following quality assurance procedures were implemented:
- ABS welding procedure
- Material quality certificates
- Approved drawings
- ABS and SGS certified welders
- NDT testing
- Clipper Marine Limited:
Complete design, fabrication and installation of a 'H' frame for their offshore Diving support/supply Vessel. The frame was prefabricated in our workshop to be utilized in a Vibrocore survey job for Chevron.
- Halliburton Energy Services Ltd.:
Installation of motors, gearbox’s and propeller shafts on four tanks in order to convert them into batch mixers. In addition the conversion of these tanks also involved the installation of explosion proof control panels and all associated wiring. These explosion proof control panels were completely engineered, designed and manufactured by us.
- Schlumberger Nigeria Ltd.:
Complete electrical safety audit of all electrical appliances in their housing estate (56 houses). In addition minor repairs of some appliances were carried out on site.
- Mallard Bay Nigeria Ltd.:
Complete rewiring of BJ Varco top drive electrical system, which includes main junction box, pressure sensors, temperature sensors, thermocouples and other safety devices. Wiring of the main DC top drive motor and other smaller motors.
- BJ Services Nig. Ltd.:
Complete electrical refurbishment of vacuum pumps including control panels, wiring, junction boxes, motors and switches. Installation and fabrication of water based cooling system, including radiator, fan, motor etc.
- BJ Services Nig. Ltd.:
Successfully executed the repair of two holes on the bottom hull of the vessel (Sirpi Fjord) using a dry habitat. A dry habitat was installed under each hole using divers and the affected area repaired while the vessel was in the water. The entire procedure was within international standards and was approved by Bureau Veritas. As a result BJ services were able to continue their contract with SPDC with minimum down time and without the additional expenditure of dry docking etc.
